Cardiology Basics: Vectors & Waveforms

Cardiology Basics: Vectors & Waveforms

The ECG is made up of several waveforms that represent the cardiac cycle. In this module we will study the individual waveforms and intervals, and know exactly what they signify in relation to the electrical conduction system. We will also take a look at the ECG graph paper, how we measure amplitude and duration, and how vectors work. At the end of this module we will take our first steps into interpretation by learning how to calculate heart rate. This module will take approx. 1.5 hours to complete.

If you would like a certificate for your CPD folder there is an option to request one on completion.
